Commentary:
The M model 172 on floats with the 0360 conversion is quite a remarkable performer. They are relatively cheep to operate and are flexible enough to change landing gear in a matter of 3-4 hours. This AC has a Horton STOL kit and has the fuel step kit. The seaplane empty weight is 1575 with a useful load of 725 pounds, 450 pounds of payload after fuel. Performance on wheels is quite exceptional as well. The floats have just been overhauled with a fresh coat of paint.
