We are selling a 1/10th share in a co-ownership group that has two aircraft. All fixed fees are split equally between owners; Hanger rent, insurance, monthly insurance reserves, bank charges, electricity and our border crossing sticker = ~$460/month. We have a calculation we use to ensure fuel used is allocated correctly to each partner so you don’t pay for more fuel than you use. We have engine and contingency reserves for each plane; total $35 for the PA-32, $25 for the PA-28.

The Group also keeps a balance of funds to put towards engine overhauls. These balances can be made available to prospective buyers.

Overall we have found over the past 10 years that this has been a very easy way to get into flying. We don’t have conflicts for use often. We rotate priority weeks for each owner, who acts as the dispatcher for other users during their week.

This offers an easier entry to owning an aircraft and a much lower per hour overall cost.
