Essential Job Functions

- Cut, pattern, and sew aircraft seating (not always required)
- Strip coverings from existing interior panels and re-cover with new materials
- Repair damaged interior panels as directed by the Manager or Crew Chief
- Other duties as assigned

- Proven ability/experience to pattern and sew seating components in aircraft, automotive, marine or furniture
- Ability to follow attendance policies
- Strong Attention to detail

- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write simple correspondence
Physical
- Regularly required to:
- Stand, walk, sit climb or balance
- Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
- Talk or hear
- Reach with hands or arms, grasp or pull
- Lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally required to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to:
- Caustic or toxic chemicals
- Fumes
- Loud Noises
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability/experience to pattern and sew seating components in aircraft, automotive, marine or furniture
- Experience in foam/buildup/evaluation/disassembly and assembly of seating components desired
